Pick-Up Information

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Orders may now be placed the same day thru our same day ordering system at: ordermariposa.com  

Same day orders automatically are set to be picked up 15 minutes after the order has been placed.  If you would like your order to be picked up at another time during the day, you may specify that in the notes section of your order.  Please note that orders through our same-day ordering system are dependent on inventories that are made for that day. 

To be guaranteed a large quantity of a particular item, you may also order ahead using this website.  Orders from this website must be placed by 2pm the weekday (Monday-Friday) before the day of pick-up.  

What is the best way to contact you?

Do you deliver or do you offer Curbside Pickup?

We do not deliver.  But we do offer Curbside Pickup at our Oakland Bakeshop.  To place an order for curbside pickup, go to: ordermariposa.com and at the end of your order, select Curbside Pickup.

At this time, we are not set up for local deliveries. We suggest you arrange with a courier service if you absolutely need a local Bay Area delivery. Another option is to ship our products. You can order our products on line at www.mariposabaking.com and have them shipped to your door.

How can I place a pick-up order?

The easiest way to order is through this website: pickup.mariposabaking.com. Orders can be placed up to 3 weeks ahead. You can also place and order on our same day ordering system at: ordermariposa.com. Both of these systems are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

If you are unable to access our websites to order, or need assistance in placing your order, you may call us by phone. Please have your address, phone number and credit card information ready when placing order. Contact our customer service at 510-595-0955 ext 108, 9am-5pm M-F PST

How can I cancel a pick-up order?

Yes- you can cancel an order with proper notice. We understand that plans can change and we will gladly assist you in canceling your pick-up order by 9am the day before your order is scheduled. With proper notice given, we can issue a full refund and remove the items needed from our production schedule. Just call 510-595-0955 ext 108, or email us at info@mariposabaking.com to cancel an order.

Note: Pre-orders that are not canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled pick up may not be subject to a refund. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not provide refunds on orders that are placed and not picked up on the scheduled order date. (Unclaimed orders may be held, up to 5 days, in cold storage for pick up .)

How can I change my order?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard and PayPal for online orders for pick-up. In our bakeshops, we accept cash, VISA, Mastercard or Apple Pay.

Will I get an order confirmation online?

Yes, after you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. An order number will be provided to within in these confirmation, so that you can reference your order. You do not need this confirmation to pick up your order -- We just need your name as a reference!

How Far In Advance Do I Need To Place An Order For A Wedding Cake?

We need at least 2 weeks notice to schedule and make your special order wedding cake. Please contact Customer Service at 510-595-0955 x108 for assistance in selecting and placing your Special Occasion Cake order for your wedding or celebration.
