Pick-Up Information

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Orders may now be placed the same day thru our same day ordering system at: ordermariposa.com  

Same day orders automatically are set to be picked up 15 minutes after the order has been placed.  If you would like your order to be picked up at another time during the day, you may specify that in the notes section of your order.  Please note that orders through our same-day ordering system are dependent on inventories that are made for that day. 

To be guaranteed a large quantity of a particular item, you may also order ahead using this website.  Orders from this website must be placed by 2pm the weekday (Monday-Friday) before the day of pick-up.  

What is the best way to contact you?

Do you deliver or do you offer Curbside Pickup?

We do not deliver.  But we do offer Curbside Pickup at our Oakland Bakeshop.  To place an order for curbside pickup, go to: ordermariposa.com and at the end of your order, select Curbside Pickup.

At this time, we are not set up for local deliveries. We suggest you arrange with a courier service if you absolutely need a local Bay Area delivery. Another option is to ship our products. You can order our products on line at www.mariposabaking.com and have them shipped to your door.

How can I place a pick-up order?

The easiest way to order through our same day ordering system at: ordermariposa.com or thru this website pickup.mariposabaking.com.  Both of these systems are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How can I cancel a pick-up order?

We understand that plans can change and we will gladly assist you in canceling your pick-up order by 9am the day before your order was scheduled. With proper notice, we can issue a full refund and remove the items needed from our production schedule. Call us at: 510-595-0955 ext 108 

NOTE: Special orders (such as cakes) that are not canceled within 24 hours and are not picked up will only be issued a 50% partial refund. 

How can I change my order?

Can I place a pick-up order for lunch or breakfast items?

You can plan an order for lunch or breakfast items on our same day ordering website: ordermariposa.com 

Orders placed same day automatically are set to be ready in 15 minutes.  If you would like your order to be ready later, you can put that request in the notes section of the order.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard and PayPal for online orders for pick-up. In our bakeshops, we accept cash, VISA, Mastercard or Apple Pay.

Will I get an order confirmation online?

Yes, after you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. An order number will be provided to you in these confirmations to reference your order. You do not need this confirmation to pick up your order -- We just need your name as a reference!
