Mariposa's calzone is an Italian favorite, similar to pizza but folded into a pocket. Our calzone is filled with ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, chives and marinara. Additionally, we offer a ham and cheese version with nitrate-free smoked ham added inside. After being filled, the pocket is folded over, sealed, and then baked until golden brown. This handheld pizza pocket is a hot, on-the-go favorite!

Pastry Ingredients: GF flour blend (org brown rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, org amaranth flour), org milk, unsalted butter, eggs, org unrefined cane sugar, yeast, xanthan gum, sea salt, non-GMO beet or potato fibre and ascorbic acid. Filling Ingredients: Cheese filling (ricotta, mozzarella, fresh parsley, fresh chives and sea salt), homemade marinara (plum tomatoes, yellow onion, olive oil, garlic, fresh Italian parsley, oregano and black pepper). Ham Calzone: smoked ham.

Storage and Handling

Enjoy heated from our cafes, or if taking home - keep refrigerated up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.

Warming Instructions
